TECENTRIQ + chemotherapy (nab-pac) delayed disease progression more than nab-pac alone

TECENTRIQ was studied with a type of chemotherapy called nab-paclitaxel in a clinical trial, which included 369 people newly diagnosed with PD-L1+ unresectable locally advanced or metastatic triple-negative breast cancer (mTNBC).

Median progression-free survival (PFS)* in PD-L1+ patients

  • At this time there are not enough data available from the study to assess whether patients taking TECENTRIQ + chemotherapy (nab-pac) lived longer

TECENTRIQ may not work for everyone.
*Median PFS=the length of time from the start of treatment in a trial that half the patients lived without their tumors growing or spreading.
Nab-paclitaxel (nab-pac) is a chemotherapy also known as paclitaxel protein-bound.

Safety information you should be aware of

TECENTRIQ can cause your immune system to attack normal organs and tissues and can affect the way they work. These problems can sometimes become serious or life threatening and can lead to death.

Possible serious side effects with TECENTRIQ include, but are not limited to, lung problems (pneumonitis), liver problems (hepatitis), intestinal problems (colitis), hormone gland problems (especially the thyroid, adrenal glands, pancreas, and pituitary), problems in other organs, severe infections and severe infusion reactions.

You can learn more about the signs and symptoms of these and other side effects in the TECENTRIQ Medication Guide.

More patients responded on TECENTRIQ + nab-pac

Objective response rate (ORR) in PD-L1+ patients

Confirmed response in patients with measurable disease at baseline. Response means the cancer was reduced or could no longer be detected on a scan.

Patients responded to treatment longer with TECENTRIQ + nab-pac

Median duration of response (DoR) in PD-L1+ patients

TECENTRIQ may not work for everyone.
Median DoR=the amount of time that half the people in this trial had an initial response to treatment until disease worsened was 6.2 months for those not taking TECENTRIQ. That time is compared with 9.2 months for those taking TECENTRIQ with chemotherapy.
