To get started, your first 1200 mg dose of TECENTRIQ is infused into your vein over the course of 60 minutes. If this treatment is tolerated, subsequent infusions may take 30 minutes.

How will I receive TECENTRIQ?

  • Your healthcare provider will give you TECENTRIQ into your vein through an intravenous (IV) line over 30 to 60 minutes.
  • TECENTRIQ is given every 3 weeks.
  • Your healthcare provider will decide how many treatments you need.
  • Your healthcare provider will test your blood to check you for certain side effects.

If you miss any appointments, call your healthcare provider as soon as possible to reschedule your appointment.

Tips for staying comfortable during your infusions

Stay Warm

Some people feel cold during their infusion, so you may want to bring a warm blanket.

Bring a Companion

Ask a family member or friend to give you a ride and keep you company during your infusion.

Dress Comfortably

Some appointments take longer than others, so you may want to wear comfortable clothes.

Pass the Time

Entertain yourself with a book, a tablet, or your phone loaded with a TV show or podcast.

Pack a Snack

Ask your care team if it's okay to bring some light snacks or a bottle of water.

Take Notes

Bring a pen and your treatment journal (or a notepad) to jot down any questions or thoughts that come up.
